New Characters in 5.5 Banners
Leaks suggest that Version 5.5 will introduce one new 5-star and one new 4-star character. According to HoYoverse’s drip marketing, the new characters coming in Genshin Impact 5.5 are:
- Varesa (5-Star Electro Catalyst)
- Iansan (4-Star Electro Polearm)
These characters are expected to be featured in the Phase 1 or Phase 2 banners of Version 5.5.
5.5 Character Reruns
According to a leak from homdgcat (relayed by ISRUKRENG on the Genshin Impact Leaks subreddit), three characters are returning in the 5.5 banners:
- Xilonen (5-Star Dendro Sword)
- Xianyun (5-Star Anemo Catalyst)
- Venti (5-Star Anemo Bow)
However, it’s still unclear which phase these reruns will appear in. The official 5.5 livestream will confirm the banner schedule.
What to Expect in Version 5.5
While details remain unconfirmed, Genshin Impact 5.5 will likely include:
