Genshin Impact 6.0 Leaks: The Fatui Harbingers Descend Upon Nod-Krai – What We Know (And What We Don’t)

Get ready, Travelers! New leaks for Genshin Impact Version 6.0 are hinting at a major shake-up in our journey across Teyvat, particularly concerning the enigmatic Fatui Harbingers. It seems our next destination, Nod-Krai – a southern extension of Snezhnaya – will be a hotbed of Fatui activity, potentially featuring several high-ranking members of the organization.

This news is especially interesting given the potential extension of Genshin Impact’s roadmap. While Snezhnaya was originally slated for 2025, it now appears we’ll be spending a significant amount of time in Nod-Krai, and possibly even revisiting other previously mentioned areas like Mare Jivari, before fully venturing into the Tsaritsa’s domain. But don’t let that fool you – the Fatui are still very much on our path!

Nod-Krai: A New Fatui Stronghold?

The in-game story has already confirmed that after the events in Natlan, the Tsaritsa recalled many of her Harbingers back to Snezhnaya, only to redeploy them to Nod-Krai. This region is reportedly rife with power disputes, making it a prime location for the Fatui to exert their influence. We’ve already had in-game confirmation that Dottore has been dispatched to the area, and he even makes an appearance in the latest Nod-Krai teaser trailer!

The trailer, prominently featured on the official Genshin Impact YouTube channel, showcases new Fatui enemy designs and explicitly shows Dottore leading them, solidifying his presence. While he might appear as early as Version 6.0, it’s worth remembering the Fontaine arc, where Arlecchino was known to be present from 4.0 but only truly encountered in 4.1. So, Dottore’s direct confrontation might be pushed to a later 6.X update.

Rumored Harbinger Sightings: Columbina and Sandrone

Beyond Dottore, two other Harbingers are heavily rumored to make their debut in Nod-Krai:

  • Sandrone: Leaker Shirai Nokochan (shared by Blue_Special61 on Reddit) suggests Sandrone will appear in an early 6.X update. This is exciting as leaks about her have been circulating for a while, hinting at a cruelty that might even surpass Dottore’s. Her appearance would make sense as the game inches closer to its more intense story arcs.
  • Columbina: Leaks from Team Mew (shared by SufficientSir_9753 on Reddit) mention a “Moon Goddess” who is speculated to be Columbina. Further information by leaker 领域重开 (shared by ISRUKRENG on Reddit) directly states Columbina is the “newborn Frost Moon Goddess” in Genshin Impact 6.0. This connection is particularly intriguing given Nod-Krai’s deep lore ties to three sister moons (Aria, Sonnet, and Canon) and a faction within the region called the Frostmoon Scions, who are devoted to a Moon Goddess. If true, Columbina’s presence would be perfectly aligned with the region’s narrative.

The presence of both Sandrone and Columbina would significantly bolster Dottore’s forces in Nod-Krai and allow HoYoverse to introduce two of the final Harbingers yet to make in-game appearances.

Playable Harbingers: Who Has a Chance?

While the thought of encountering multiple Harbingers is thrilling, the burning question for many players is: will any of them become playable?

  • Dottore: Highly Unlikely. Dottore is firmly positioned as a sadistic villain who conducts unethical experiments. So far, playable characters with villainous pasts (like Arlecchino, Wanderer, and Childe) have always had more morally gray or “anti-hero” characteristics. A recent leak from Genshin Leakflow (shared by SufficientSir_9753 on Reddit) even suggests Dottore might become a weekly boss and that his ultimate fate could prevent him from ever being playable.
  • Sandrone: Also Unlikely (for now). Following the same logic as Dottore, Sandrone is described as a “vile” character. The same Genshin Leakflow information suggests she won’t be playable in 6.X updates.
  • Columbina: The Best Bet! Among the three, Columbina has the highest chance of becoming playable. Leaks about her playable form already exist, and she hasn’t been painted as a full-blown villain. If the “Frostmoon Goddess” leaks hold true, she could even be a benevolent figure, significantly increasing her odds of joining our roster.

A Grain of Salt (and Excitement!)

It’s crucial to remember that these are early leaks and should be taken with a significant grain of salt. Information can be incorrect or subject to change as development progresses. However, the sheer volume of these rumors and the in-game confirmations about Dottore suggest that the upcoming Nod-Krai story arc will feature the largest involvement of the Fatui to date.

Imagine encountering three different Harbingers in one region, with the possibility of one even becoming a playable character! The next chapter of Genshin Impact is shaping up to be an intense and captivating one. What are your thoughts on these leaks? Which Harbinger are you most excited (or terrified) to see?
