Honkai: Star Rail Version 3.4 | Blade all buffs

Trailblazers, get ready! Blade, the enigmatic Stellaron Hunter, is reportedly receiving some significant buffs in Honkai: Star Rail Version 3.4, according to recent leaks. These changes aim to enhance his unique HP-consuming playstyle and solidify his position as a powerful Wind Destruction character. Let’s dive into what’s rumored to be coming!

Core Kit Enhancements: More Damage, More Taunt, More Power!

Blade’s fundamental abilities are getting a noticeable overhaul, primarily shifting his damage scaling even more heavily towards his Max HP. This means building HP on Blade will become even more rewarding!

  • Basic ATK & Enhanced Basic ATK: Both his regular and enhanced Basic Attacks are now expected to deal significantly more Wind damage, with the enhanced version specifically hitting three adjacent enemies. Crucially, their damage will scale more effectively with his Max HP. The enhanced Basic ATK will continue to consume 10% of his Max HP, dropping to 1 HP if insufficient.
  • Skill (Hellscape): Activating Hellscape will still consume 30% of his Max HP and enhance his Basic ATK for 3 turns, boosting his outgoing damage. A key rumored change is an increase in his taunt value while in this state, making him more likely to be targeted by enemies. This is a significant buff, as it allows him to proc his talent more reliably.
  • Ultimate (Death Sentence): Blade’s Ultimate, which deals Wind damage to all enemies, will see its damage multipliers adjusted to scale more directly with his Max HP and the HP he has lost during the battle. The HP loss tally will still reset after using his Ultimate.
  • Passive Talent (Shuhu’s Gift): His passive, which grants a Charge upon taking damage or consuming HP, remains. Once he accumulates 5 stacks of Charge, he’ll unleash a follow-up attack that also replenishes a certain amount of his HP. A leaked bonus ability also suggests that his follow-up attack will now regenerate 15 Energy, improving his Ultimate uptime.
  • Technique: Blade’s Technique, which involves consuming 20% of his Max HP to deal Wind damage to all enemies upon entering battle, remains largely the same.

Eidolon Overhauls: Taking Blade to the Next Level

Blade’s Eidolons (constellations) are also seeing exciting adjustments, further empowering his kit:

  • Eidolon 1: Blade Cuts the Deepest in Hell: This Eidolon is rumored to grant additional damage to both his Ultimate and Enhanced Basic ATK based on the HP lost during the current battle. Importantly, some leaks suggest that the accumulated HP loss will no longer be cleared after his Ultimate is used at E1, allowing for even greater damage potential.
  • Eidolon 2: Ten Thousand Sorrows From One Broken Dream: When Blade is in the “Hellscape” state, his CRIT Rate will receive a significant boost, potentially making it easier to build him with higher Crit stats.
  • Eidolon 4: Rejected by Death, Infected With Life: Whenever Blade’s HP drops to 50% or below, his maximum HP will get a substantial boost. This effect can reportedly stack twice, further increasing his survivability and damage output due to HP scaling.
  • Eidolon 6: A Life of Many Deaths: This powerful Eidolon is rumored to reduce the Charges needed for his follow-up attack from 5 to 4, allowing for more frequent follow-ups. Additionally, the follow-up attack itself will deal increased damage.

What Does This Mean for Blade?

These leaked buffs suggest a strong direction for Blade, emphasizing his unique self-damaging, HP-scaling playstyle. The increased taunt value from his Skill is particularly welcome, as it will help him gain Charges for his follow-up attacks more consistently. The shift to a “full HP” damage model across his kit, coupled with the Eidolon enhancements, should make him a more potent and reliable damage dealer.

While these are still leaks and subject to change before the official Version 3.4 release, they paint an exciting picture for Blade mains and those considering pulling for him. Get ready to see Blade wreak even more havoc on the battlefield!
