Roblox The Hatch: Your Ultimate Guide to Egg Locations and Farming

The Hatch event is in full swing on Roblox, challenging players to collect ten unique egg types across various biomes to unlock exclusive avatar rewards. While finding all 100 eggs can be a tricky task, this guide will help you navigate the main hub’s biomes, pinpoint optimal farming spots, and even leverage the community to complete your collection.

Roblox The Hatch Eggs Explained

Each of the ten egg types in The Hatch corresponds to a specific element and biome within the main hub. While you can find random eggs of that element within its dedicated zone, the exact egg that spawns is completely random. You can collect approximately ten eggs in a zone before new ones stop appearing for you.

To complete your sets, you’ll need to explore the 50+ assigned games for each biome, merge duplicate eggs into higher rarities, or trade with other players. Knowing the hot spots in the main hub is crucial for efficient farming.

Note: The Hatch event is running from July 2 to July 12, 2025. Be sure to collect all your desired eggs and rewards before the event concludes!

Shifting Shores: Connection, Darkness, and Light Eggs

The Shifting Shores is your starting point in The Hatch, housing the Connection, Darkness, and Light biomes.

Connection Egg Locations

To earn the Funktastic Frittata Boombox, head to the main Hatch hub area. You’ll find three Connection Eggs on the pier behind the portal and one behind the sheltered stall to its right. For easy AFK farming, stand on the barrel by the blue archway behind the portal.

Light Egg Locations

Unlock the Bizarro Benedict Hat by collecting Light Eggs. Two easy spawns are to the left of the merge station, and another is at the base of the stairs connecting the biome to the main plaza.

Darkness Egg Locations

Dive into the large whirlpool in the main Hatch biome to find Darkness Eggs for the Electro Eggalodon Tail. These eggs are typically nestled in the seaweed, close to the walls as you descend. Bounce between the two sides of the whirlpool to farm three egg spawn points, where you can quickly accumulate eggs, including mythic ones. Don’t forget to grab the manta ray for a ride and a quest egg if you see it!

Emerald Wilds: Earth, Fire, and Water Eggs

Located on the east side of The Hatch world, the Emerald Wilds features Earth, Fire, and Water elements.

Fire Egg Locations

For the Scorching Deviled Egg Horns, seek out Fire Eggs in the Volcano Biome. A prime farming spot is on the box in front of the door to its Merge hut, where eggs respawn regularly for efficient AFK farming.

Earth Egg Locations

Collecting Earth Eggs for the Egglectrified Adventurer’s Belt is straightforward. One spawns directly behind the spawn point by the fence, and another near a rock just before the cannon. Additional spawns are located on either side of the portal northeast of the spawn – one by the base of the houses and another in a small shrub on the right side of the portal’s approach.

Water Egg Locations

To unlock the Midnight Aggquarium Backpack, take a swim in the water between the Earth and Fire biomes on the Emerald Wilds. These eggs can be tricky due to abundant plant life. Look for one just off the cliff by the merge station, and a couple more as you continue down the steps toward the hatch point. Circle the area or camp one of the three Water Egg spawn points that form a triangle path right from the hatch point, especially if the biome is quiet.

Crackling Den: Energy and Time Eggs

The southern end of The Hatch hub, the Cracking Den, is home to the Energy and Time Eggs in smaller, more focused zones.

Energy Egg Locations

Gather Energy Eggs in the Energy Biome on Crackling Den to earn the Yolktaic Energy Wings. Excellent farming spots include to the left of the waterfall just after the portal, on the opposite side of the portal, and directly below the portal on the water’s edge.

Time Egg Locations

The Timestun Halo awaits those who collect Time Eggs. The winding tunnels of the mines make them easy to find – just follow the tracks clockwise. Keep your camera spinning as some eggs hide behind protruding rocks. Hitting the shaking gems will cause you to travel back in time, but it won’t affect collected eggs.

Howling Heights: Air and Ice Eggs

Finally, at the northern tip of The Hatch hub on the frigid Howling Heights, you’ll discover the Air and Ice Eggs.

Ice Egg Locations

To unlock the Staff of the Gelatomancer, collect Ice Eggs scattered around the winding corridors of the Ice Biome. A major hotspot is conveniently located right by the Merge Station, making it easy to double up on egg collection if you use the Fast Travel button.

Air Egg Locations

Finish your Air Eggs collection for the Dark Side of the Egg Aura. Accessed via the large gust of wind in the middle of Howling Heights, the Air Biome is relatively small with five easily visible egg locations. Be aware that the one by the machine on the left side of the lake can be hard to spot as it barely breaks the surface of the water. There are no eggs at the end of the lobby behind the portal.

Farmed every Hatch egg? The event continues with mini-events within the hub, so keep an eye out for more rewards! In the meantime, enjoy your new avatar items and explore other free PC games.
