Beanstalk Event Guide in Grow a Garden – How to Play & Rewards

The Beanstalk Event has arrived in Grow a Garden, bringing players an exciting new challenge after the Cooking Event. This time, instead of stoves and food connoisseurs, you’ll be working with Jack and his magical beanstalk to unlock new rewards, meet new NPCs, and even reach a floating island in the sky.

If you want to maximize your progress in this limited-time event, here’s a complete breakdown of how it works, what Jack wants, and the rewards you can get.

🌱 How the Beanstalk Event Works

  • Main Goal: Grow the beanstalk tall enough to reach the floating island.
  • How to Grow It: Jack, a new NPC, requests specific crops every hour. By giving him what he asks for, he waters the beanstalk, making it grow.
  • Growth Meter: The beanstalk reaches its max height when the meter hits 900.

💡 Pro Tip: Playing with more people makes the beanstalk grow much faster. The top contributor each cycle earns bonus rewards.

🌾 What Crops Does Jack Want?

Jack asks for crops based on themed categories (Prickly, Woody, Summer, etc.). Each category has multiple valid crops. Here are some quick examples:

  • Prickly: Pricklefruit, Dragon Fruit, Aloe Vera, Pineapple, Prickly Pear
  • Woody: Apple, Kiwi, Papaya, Coconut, Dragon Sapling
  • Summer: Watermelon, Banana, Blueberry, Aloe Vera, Carrot
  • Prehistoric: Horned Dinoshroom, Fossilight, Bone Blossom
  • Zen: Lucky Bamboo, Sakura Bush, Maple Apple
  • Toxic: Nightshade, Rafflesia, Foxglove
  • Fungus: Glowshroom, Mega Mushroom, Duskpuff
  • Night: Starfruit, Moonglow, Moon Blossom
  • Spicy: Dragon Pepper, Jalapeno, Ember Lily
  • Stalky: Bamboo, Lotus, Dandelion, Firefly Fern
  • Vegetable: Eggplant, Tomato, Pumpkin, King Cabbage
  • Tropical: Mango, Coconut, Starfruit, Passionfruit
  • Sweet: Strawberry, Blueberry, Sugarglaze, Candy Blossom
  • Sour: Lemon, Lime, Cranberry
  • Leafy: Dragon Sapling, Peach, Strawberry, Maple Apple
  • Flower: Sunflower, Rose, Candy Sunflower, Ember Lily
  • Root: Carrot, Onion, Potato, Mandrake
  • Candy: Red Lollipop, Chocolate Carrot, Easter Egg
  • Berry: Raspberry, Lingonberry, Grape, Blueberry

👉 Tip: Knowing these groups helps you prepare crops in advance and contribute faster.

🎁 Beanstalk Climb Rewards

Once the beanstalk grows tall enough, you can climb it. Along the way, you’ll find glowing green blobs that drop rewards such as:

  • Reclaimer
  • Sprout Seed Pack
  • Sprout Crate
  • Sprout Egg
  • Master Sprinkler
  • Godly Sprinkler
  • Silver Fertilizer
  • Mutation Spray Bloom
  • Beanstalk Seed
  • Small Treat / Small Toy

⚠️ Important: The beanstalk decays back into a sprout after 20 minutes, so you’ll need to repeat the process to keep climbing and earning.

🏝️ Goliath and His Goods

At the top of the beanstalk lives Goliath, a giant NPC who runs the Goliath’s Goods Shop. Unlike past events, you don’t need special event currency — you can purchase everything with Sheckles or Robux.

Some items are locked at first and require repeated event participation to unlock. This also applies to the teleport portals between the beanstalk base and the floating island.

Goliath’s Shop Items:

  • Sprout Seed Pack – 1.5M Sheckles / 199 Robux
  • Sprout Egg – 50M Sheckles / 149 Robux
  • Mandrake Seed – 50K Sheckles / 199 Robux
  • Sprout Crate – 12M Sheckles / 179 Robux
  • Silver Fertilizer – 10M Sheckles / 129 Robux
  • Canary Melon Seed – 4M Sheckles / 559 Robux
  • Amberheart Seed – 8M Sheckles / 759 Robux
  • Spriggan Pet – 150M Sheckles / 759 Robux

🌟 Final Tips for the Beanstalk Event

  • Always check Jack’s hourly requests and stock up on the matching crop types.
  • Team up with other players — growing the beanstalk solo is much harder.
  • Try to climb steadily along the stalk instead of jumping leaf to leaf.
  • Keep contributing across multiple events to unlock more shop items and teleport portals.

The Beanstalk Event is one of the most interactive updates yet in Grow a Garden, giving you both farming challenges and climbing adventures with big rewards.
